WORLD PREMIER OF THE MOVIE, “KNOW CANDY”
On Saturday April 23 at 7PM, Albany Talent and The Great Room Theater in Gansevoort will host the world premier of a Jon Cring film, “KNOW CANDY”. Jon Cring will be in attendance, as well as many of the stars of the movie. Tickets are $3 at the door. Reserve a seat by calling 518-743-0974.
“THE RODEO OF LOVE”, AN ORIGINAL MUSICAL COMEDY written by James Pentaudi, just completed a successful initial reading at the Albany office, and has hired the wonderful theatrical director Fran Williams and set designer Chantal Couture to prepare for a summer showing at the Great Room Theater. In the meantime, two more readings are scheduled: Sunday April 17 in Newtown, CT and Thursday April 21 in Kingston. A big thanks to the people part of the first reading: Aislynn and Heather Lighty, Michael Drobny, David Bryan, Bill Nevitt, Tom Foglio, Vernon Payne, Chris Brozek, Dawn Lapp, Patty O’toole, Dave Rydelnik, Kendra Stepenuck, Aidan Colwell, Elizabeth Page-Colwell, and Mary Driscoll.
ALBANY TALENT CONTINUES TO GROW!!
On March 1st, Albany Talent opened an office in Kingston, New York as part of a media center complex including two ad agencies, a TV studio, production studio, recording studio and a small bistro theater. About fifty new talent came in for interviews. James: “We saw some great new people, including a gorgeous and experienced model/actress from LA as well as an entire family-parents and three girls-who are all talented. Also, there were some excellent voice-over people, union and non-union.”
COMMERCIAL SHOOT FOR RE-BATH
Seven Albany Talent actors finished a successful commercial shoot for Re-Bath: Bathroom Refitters on Wednesday and Thursday last week. Actors included on-camera speaking roles for Elizabeth Page-Colwell, Patty O’toole, Vera Converse, Ann Costantino and first-timer Dawn Lapp (YAY, DAWN!!) as well as non-speaking roles for Mark Grimm and David Sherin. Makeup and hair, also booked by Albany Talent, was skillfully done by Barbara Whitchurch.
