Albany Talent’s Television Auditoning Seminar Series begins Thursday Oct. 25 from 6:30-8:30pm with the first class, TV 1: Introduction to Auditioning. The class will focus on the proper mental approach to auditioning for commercials, how to think like an advertising agent, what questions to ask to properly prepare for the audition, slating skills and how to raise both comfort levels and polish.
Cost of the class is $60 and several spots remain available.
TV 2: Personality Auditions & Introduction to Cold-Reads, the second in the series, is tentatively scheduled for Thursday Nov. 8, also 6:30-8:30pm.
The seminar will take place at the Saratoga Springs office, 125 High Rock Avenue and will be taught by owner James Pentaudi. Considered one of the top coaches in the industry, comments from around the country are available upon request.
