An audition is scheduled for Thursday Nov. 5 for a commercial shoot with a Boston-based production company in Albany on either Saturday Nov. 14 or Sunday Nov. 15.
Auditions will take place between noon and 5pm and you must have a time reserved. Audition location is 176 Third St., Troy NY, street parking, filmmaker Jon Cring’s studio.
Most important… the models must be real pet owners and genuinely comfortable holding dogs and cats!
Rate to be determined.
Here is the casting instructions for our casting call next week. Client will be bringing a dog to the casting session so we can see how the models react.
5 pet owners/pet owner families per day. Racial diversity ie. black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Indian.
In particular, would like to have…
Wheelchair bound woman with assist dog- does not have been truly be handicapped.
Elderly couple
Asian family – dad and daughter (Dad 30-40, Daughter 5-15)
Caucasian family – mom and son (Mom 30-40, Son 5-15)
Female pet owners – anywhere from 30 – 60
Older male pet owners – age 45 - 60
Midwestern male 27 - 40 yrs old- i.e. not metro-looking, more blue-jeans looking
Caucasian female with European ethnicity 30 - 45 yrs old.
