Host clapit’s Next Open Call & Meet Hollywood Producer Steven Shapiro!
clapit is an app that connects actors with producers, giving unknown talent the opportunity to land their first big break.
In our last contest, actors competed for speaking roles in a true crime thriller! This time, actors are battling it out for the chance to host clapit’s next feature film casting call. The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to NYC for the shoot and will meet with Hollywood producer Steven Shapiro & clapit co-founder/CEO MJ Bulseco. Steven Shapiro is the producer of 16 films including The November Man starring Pierce Brosnan.
How to Apply
- Between now and August 6, 2017, short film yourself impersonating your favorite film character for 20 seconds or less. Be sure to show off your charisma and screen presence, and don’t forget to label your post #clapithost.
- Invite your family, friends and fans over text, email and social media to download clapit and “clap” your performance.
- The clapit co-founders will choose a winner from the top 5 most clapped auditions. Talent will receive an all-expenses paid trip to NYC to host the casting call and to meet with producer Steven Shapiro and clapit CEO MJ Bulseco!
