James Pentaudi’s MIDDLE SCHOOL MADNESS:THE MUSICAL announces its first Capital region performances Saturday Feb. 28th at 2pm and Sunday March 1st at 2 and 5pm at the National Museum of Dance’s Riggi Theater, 99 S. Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
MSM is an hilarious and emotional musical documentary, taking you on a tour of the middle school experience. An entire cast of fourteen middle schoolers show and tell you “what it’s REALLY like…being caught in the middle.” Thirteen original songs include the circus atmosphere of “ON THE BUS”, “LUNCH MENU SONG” sung by Foo Daddy, Bad Meat and Cool Beans, “LATINA’ with all the boys in love with the foreign exchange student Rosita, “TALL”-two short boys wishing they were tall and “WHY DO THEY HURT” about the important issue of bullying.
One parent commented, “This show needs to be in every school in the country”, while a boy said, “I wish my parents had been here to see what I”m going through.”
Seating at the Riggi Theater is very limited, so tickets need to be purchased prior to performance and are available by calling 518-334-2918. Ticket prices are $15 adults, $10 eighteen and younger.
